New character timeline added: Odo. Addition of and improvements to spoiler content throughout the site: Major spoilers on character timelines have been obfuscated. All hidden spoiler content is now also hidden from screen readers and other assistive technologies. *All TOS* links fixed In numerous places, I conflated TOS episode air numbers with production numbers (thanks Memory Alpha 🙄). This site will standardize by using the order in which TOS aired, not the order in which they were produced. All TOS links now have a pop-up containing the production number when you hover over them. Fixed a ton of tiny mistakes** Of course I proofread and use a spelling and grammar checker, but those methods still managed to miss several wrong word choices and words that were missing entirely. So I admit that I had ChatGPT proofread most of the site for me to find things that are objectively incorrect. I did NOT use it to improve or change my writing in ways other than the correction of errors. Other fixes and quality improvements Using the title search box clear button now returns focus to the title search box; added missing Characters link to the nav menu for Voyager; fixed/prevented mobile browsers trying to turn date ranges into clickable phone numbers throughout the site; movie title graphics added to certain character timelines; made consistent capitalization of “The Doctor” (the character from Voyager), “the Burn” (the event in Discovery), and the words “season” and “episode” when used like names, e.g. “the third episode” versus “Episode 3”. I'm going to have to write my own style guide eventually.

Other fixes and quality improvements On episode list pages, the title search box is now given focus automatically; updated several timelines on the site now that SNW has entered a new year; on the Q guide, release order and in-universe order columns were changed to contain actual dates instead of just a numeral; added SHO 2x06: Children of Mars to the suggested prerequisite watch list for Picard Season 1; fixed a paragraph misalignment on pic‑s2.html; made improvements to episode timelines in the Voyager reviews; fixed an issue where the season separator line would not appear on episode listings on the final row (“<” != “<=”); added link on the character pages to birthdates on the timeline; added missing cookie reset link to character pages.

A character page was added to the Voyager guides, and new character timelines were added: Jean-Luc Picard, Benjamin Sisko, Kathryn Janeway. Other fixes and quality improvements Minor aesthetic improvements to the character pages for TNG and DS9; fixed an issue on the TNG full episode list where mid-season two-part episodes were incorrectly displayed on separate lines.
June 20, 2026	1.6.2	Character pages have been added to the The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine guides, along with a character timeline for only one character so far: Worf! A tag filter has been added to the blog. Several improvements and fixes to episode list search and filter functions. Title search function is now more forgiving about diacritics (e.g., searching for “e” now also matches “é”). Unchecking the only checked item in a filter will now automatically recheck the "All" option instead of displaying an empty table. Fixed an issue where filtering by the “awards” tag and also filtering by any recommendation would display zero rows. Fixed an issue where filtering by “no recommendation” and also filtering by any tag would ignore the recommendation filter. Other fixes and quality improvements Some simple visual improvements were made to the Blog page; added one quote from Discovery to the Quote of the Day rotation; updated the Section 31 distinction icon for DS9 to match the upcoming Discovery reviews; moved around some scripting related to the Kofi frame.
May 15, 2026	1.6.1 mobile 0.1	There's a brand-new mobile-friendly simplified timeline to complement the full, comprehensive timeline. The Home page was also improved for better mobile-viewing. This is my first real foray into doing mobile-friendly content. It probably needs more work, but I'm excited about it none the less! All of the links (with one exception) on the site that go to a specific event on the timeline should now go to either the comprehensive OR simple timeline based on your device type. Various updates to the comprehensive timeline, including more source pop-ups. Other fixes and quality improvements Added some additional quote-of-the-day entries on the home page for certain holidays, and generally streamlined the script; standardized the size of the back button on all pages; added back button to this page and the About page; updated “What is C6Reviews?” on the About page; added the missing “scroll to top” sidebar button to this page; fixed an issue where the browser would scroll to the wrong location on the Picard reviews under certain circumstances; fixed a couple of broken links on the Section 31 film review – that page has been here since version 1.0, there's bound to be some detritus!
April 24, 2026	1.6	The Star Trek: Lower Decks Series Guide is now online! The Borg Topic Guide is also live! Site performance improvements: All images have been converted from PNG to WEBP, and many large episode images were reduced in size by 40%. As a result, the site's total size has miraculously gone from over 2 GB to under 100 MB. All fonts have been converted from TTF to WOFF2. I finally realized why some text was taking so long to display on some pages: the font file was humongous. Spun up an Umami instance on Railway to gather page visit statistics since everyone is probably rejecting the cookies needed for Google Analytics (and I don't blame you one bit!) Other fixes and quality improvements Added a TOC and a “conventions used on this site” section on the About page, in case anyone questions why I don't capitalize “easter” when talking about easter eggs; fixed the never-appearing scroll-to-top button on the About page so that it... appears; made some consistency updates to the tables in the Seven of Nine, Q, and Borg guides; made a few aesthetic improvements on the Q topic guide; the borders on season and guide tiles on the series home pages now also highlight when hovering; aria-label attributes added to images in the SVG overlay on the comprehensive timeline for better WCAG compliance.

And yes, it was done weeks ago, but I postponed releasing it until First Contact Day, because it seemed like the right thing to do 😂 Though I presently have nothing published to show for it, I've started laying the groundwork for making this site more mobile-friendly. Other fixes and quality improvements Aesthetic improvements were made to timelines (including a higher-quality image of Cochrane and the Phoenix); the full timeline spoiler menu now shows the number of spoilers hidden for each series; slightly improved the appearance of the “pips” icons; sanitized title and timeline search inputs so I don't get “Little Bobby Tables'd”; changed a whole bunch of absolute and relative links to be root-relative; moved styles for the cookie consent popup to the css file where they belong instead of the js file; made consistent the mentions of guest stars reprising their roles; and put a considerable amount of work into making consistent the italicization of series names, film names, and ship names across the website... I probably missed a few, but at least I wasn't dealing with the hyphens again.

The home page now has a Quote of the Day that rotates through a pool of 31 quotes, plus some special quotes that show up on certain days. Improvements to the Random Review box on the home page including the addition of the episode's Watch Recommendation. Citations for songs sung by The Doctor in Star Trek: Voyager were added to the appropriate episodes. Other fixes and quality improvements Starfleet Academy tile was added to the home page; a few aesthetic fixes and improvements to the universe timeline were made, including a notification flag on the spoiler menu button when any spoilers are being shown; improved the appearance of the season/guide tiles on each series page; added the new cookie consent form and the "reset cookie preferences" link at the bottom of each page; random review box re-roll button now removes displayed episodes from the selection pool to ensure a new one each time, and pictures from series with wide aspect ratios have been zoomed and cropped for better visibility; some more source pop-ups were added to the timeline; and though it pains me greatly, I removed the colons from all mentions of Star Trek Nemesis since the title officially has no colon.

The android image was re-created so that it (1) Does not resemble and is legally distinct from the F8 android played by Alex Diehl, and (2) More closely resembles my own facial features, although I must admit that this android is considerably more handsome than me... Started adding “Source” pop-ups for some entries on the Comprehensive Timeline. I still have a lot to go. Other fixes and quality improvements Added a “re-roll” button to the Random Review box on the home page; lots of small HTML fixes throughout the site not worth detailing; fixed an issue on the Picard reviews where list items would not display correctly when showing spoilers for a single episode; added a statement in the footer of every page about this being a fan site not endorsed by Paramount, even though I have delusions of grandeur and would love for Paramount to send me a ‘cease and desist’ letter because that would mean my site was actually popular; finally settled on standardizing to the British style of placing punctuation outside of quotation marks when the punctuation is not necessarily part of the quote, and fixed a bunch of instances where I hadn't done that – I may be American, myself, but I think the Brits got this one right – and apparently I hadn't punished myself enough with the hyphens. Also, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy was added to the Star Trek Universe Full Timeline on Jan 16th.
